about us services technology contacts         Technology Laika Mobile Connectivity uses Small Planet’s connectivity platform MGateway as well as a redundant clustered server system with a flexible connectivity platform for Russia, which allows us to provide many new services to our customers. To ensure stability, reliability and fast connections to Russia and the Baltic countries our platform is located in a datacenter member of FICIX, based in Helsinki, Finland. We use new scalable and fully redundant powerful servers, with hot-swappable doubled components.  The servers are working in cluster mode with each other so that even in the extremely unlikely event that one of the servers would fail, another will seamlessly pick up the work load. The data is stored in a redundant storage device with multiple hot-swappable hard drives in RAID mode. The clustered platform is being monitored 24/7 by a separately dedicated redundant server and our personnel.  Our software platform has ready connectivity interfaces for teleoperators of other CIS countries, were we plan to start our services during 2008-2009.
