Laika Mobile Connectivity Ltd is a mobile billing services agregator specializing in Premium SMS Billing, also known as PSMS Connectivity, SMS Payment or Mobile Micro Payments. We are an European company with headquarters in Helsinki, Finland. The company was originally founded in 2006 by Laika Mobile Media Ltd. Background: On January 1st 2006, Laika Mobile Media acquired ownership of Jippii Mobile Entertainment’s business operations in Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The portal Jippii was the first mobile service to become a market leader in Russia and thus the company inherited extensive experience in providing premium SMS services for the Russian mass-market. By the end of 2006, as a result of corporate restructuring, all Connectivity operations were incorporated into a new company nemed Laika Mobile Connectivity Ltd. Currently Laika Mobile Connectivity is a pure play connectivity provider & aggregator, which allows its customers to benefit from established mobile operator relationships and deep market knowledge. The company specializes in PSMS Connectivity services in Russia and the Baltic countries - Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania. Headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, Laika Mobile Connectivity Ltd, holds direct agreements and connections with all Baltic countries teleoperators. Laika Mobile Connectivity Llc, which is our 100% owned subsidiary in Moscow, Russia, holds direct agreements and connections with Russian teleoperators and is a full member of the Mobile Content and Services Providers Association.
